My name is Jacqueline, but I go by Jackie. I earned my BFA in Graphic Design with a Minor in Art from Minnesota State University Moorhead. I'm a laid-back, down-to-earth person who values simplicity and harmony.
Background
I grew up on a small Minnesota farm with three other siblings, so hard work was expected from all of us. As I finished high school, I was involved in multiple sports, music, and graduated with honors.
I attended a small junior college in Iowa with a last second basketball scholarship. In college, I was constantly finding new ways to connect with people of all different backgrounds, while learning the basics of graphic design.
Transferring to Moorhead brought a challenging class load and much more was expected of me academically. I was overwhelmed trying to find time to work out, study, and somehow make friends. Senior year, I found more time to put into my own interests and grow in my faith. My last semester was busy with all the effort I put towards my senior project (Baking 'Sota) along with working my internship and I still graduated with highest honors - summa cum laude.
Shortly after graduation, I was honored to win multiple ADDY awards for my senior project. I won silver awards for my Logo Design, Package Design, and for the Brand Identity as a whole.
I currently specialize in print design and setup but I'm continually growing my design skills by exploring different mediums, printing on various formats, and staying current with trends. Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on freelance projects and hope to keep collaborating with small and local businesses.
I want to help you create beautiful visuals, both digitally and physically :)
